GETTING THERE & GETTING AROUND

Getting There

By Air
The Lisbon International Airport is located at only 7km from the city center. It provides daily flight connections with several destinations in Europe and regular flights to other places. Connection to the city center can be made by metro, bus or taxi.

By Train
When coming to Lisbon there are two station options: Parque das Nações (located on the modern city area) and Santa Apolónia (placed in the historical city center). Both stations offer direct connections to many areas in the city.

By Sea
The port of Lisbon, in Santa Apolónia, near the train station is another way to get in Lisbon.
The geographical location and proximity to the city center is one of the best features.

By Car
A1 highway is the main road in Portugal and connects Porto and Lisbon. When coming from the next door country Spain the best option will be A6.
