New Deadline: March 8, 2015

Submission

Abstracts may be submitted only electronically

- Abstracts should be submitted in English
- A title (in capital letters) that clearly indicates the nature of the investigation needs to be provided
- Abbreviations should be avoided in titles, but may be used in the text if they are defined at first usage
- The length of the abstract should not exceed 300 words
- The abstract should be as informative as possible and respect the following layout: objectives, methods, results, case report
  and conclusion/discussion
- Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted
- Statements such as “data will be presented” will lead to automatic rejection of the abstract
- Abstracts can be saved in draft status and completed before the deadline. Only abstracts with the status “Final submission”
  will be considered for review
- The Internet submission form will automatically reject abstracts that do not conform to the guidelines
- The submission system will generate a temporary submission number that must be used in all correspondence. If you do not receive
  this number immediately after your submission, your abstract has not been registered.
- If you need to withdraw your abstract, a written statement reflecting the reasons for this decision needs to be sent to the
  meeting secretariat

 

Evaluation

- The originals will be submitted to the criterion of evaluators.
- The selection criteria are:

    - Scientific quality of the proposal
    - Methodological approach and/or key research question(s)
    - Relevance with respect to the meeting general themes

- The Scientific Committee will examine the submitted abstracts and select the best ones to be presented and discussed.
- Further interesting proposals may possibly be presented as posters. An ad hoc space, and time, will then be dedicated in the program
  for a presentation/exchange with the author.
- At least one author of the approved abstracts must be registered at least by March, 31st, 2015 (payment validated) otherwise it will not
  be included in the Conference program!
